Devajit Saikia has confirmed that India will play Pakistan in the Asia Cup. The BCCI Secretary stated that they are just following the government’s order. Saikia further added that if India boycotts Pakistan at multinational events, not just in cricket but also in other sports, then Indian sports federations will be sanctioned by world bodies.

Sanju Samson has survived an injury scare just four days before India commences their Asia Cup campaign. The wicketkeeper batsman looked in pain while doing batting drills and left practice. However, two hours later, he hit the nets and was spotted smashing sixes.
