Pakistan’s Mohammad Yousaf offers petty explanation after pig slur on Suryakumar Yadav

The Pakistanis are fuming with rage. So much so, that they have forgotten the basic courtesy of polite language. After the Indian team led by Suryakumar Yadav refused to shake hands with the opponents after their Asia Cup thrashing, their ex-cricketers seem to have lost all sense.
Mohammad Yousaf Stoops Low
While Shahid Afridi has been making political statements, now Mohammad Yousuf too has stooped to a new low. In a recent show, the ex-cricketer called Surya, a pig. “Ye filmy duniya se nikal nehi parahe hae. Harbar film hi chal rahi hae waha. Ye suar kumar jo hae (India are stuck in a filmy world. It’s a film going on every time. Their captain, Suarkumar Yadav…,” Yousuf said.
The bitter Yousuf went on to raise a finger on the match officials as well, and disputed that the umpires favored the Indians. But facing massive backlash on social media, a few hours later, he offered an explanation.
Miffed After IND vs PAK Handshake Controversy
He said, “I didn’t mean any disrespect to any sportsman who plays for his country with passion and grace, but why were the Indian media and people praising Irfan Pathan when he said that Shahid Khan Afridi was barking like a dog? Shouldn’t that have been rejected by everyone who talks about dignity and respect?”
All this has come after India badly thrashed Pakistan on Sunday, in a one-sided game. First the opposition was reduced to 127 only, and then India comfortably chased down the target in only 15.5 overs, with seven wickets to spare. Now, if Pakistan qualify for the Super 4, they will face India on September 21 again.
