The fifth edition of The Hundred Men’s and Women’s 2025 is starting on Tuesday, August 5.

The fifth edition of The Hundred Men’s and Women’s 2025 is starting on Tuesday, August 5. Like last season, eight teams will clash to win the coveted title. The final match of this ongoing competition will be played at the iconic Lord’s on Sunday, August 31.

The 100-ball tournament will be played with a single round-robin league stage. After each team plays each other once, the top three teams will advance to the playoffs. The team at the top of the table will get direct entry into the final, while the second and third-placed teams will face each other in the eliminator match to decide the second finalist.

It is worth noting that the first match of both the men’s and women’s teams will be played at Lord’s, where London Spirit (Men and Women) will take on Oval Invincibles (Men and Women).

The tournament will be played in seven cities of England – Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester, Cardiff, Southampton and Nottingham. It is worth noting that the eliminator match of both the competitions will be held at Kennington Oval in London.

Gautam Gambhir: Former India opener Aakash Chopra has slammed India head coach Gautam Gambhir and the team management for the lack of clarity on injury issues in the squad ahead of the fourth Test against England in Manchester. Chopra raised serious questions over the selection of Anshul Kamboj and the non-selection of Harshit Rana, and said that there is “no clarity” about the game plans of the Indian team management.

Since the loss in the third Test, the visitors have been plagued by injuries, including bowler Arshdeep Singh, who was injured during a practice session. Then, pacer Aakash Deep suffered a back strain during the third Test at Lord’s.

Later, the BCCI informed that all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy will miss the rest of the Tests due to a knee injury. Anshul was sent back home, and now we are hearing about his name again,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
