In the final ODI played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the two players shared an unbroken partnership of 168 runs, helping India easily achieve the target of 237. India finished the ODI series 2-1.

Returning to international cricket after a seven-month hiatus, these two former captains made their comeback on the tour of Australia. While Rohit Sharma scored a half-century in the second match, he ended his Australian tour on a high note with a memorable century in the final match. Virat Kohli, after struggling in the first two matches, also regained his rhythm in Sydney and looked his vintage self.
With the Australia tour now over, the question now arises as to when Virat and Rohit will next be seen in action, especially as the Indian team will be focusing more on T20I cricket in preparation for the upcoming T20 International World Cup in 2026.

After the Australia tour, Virat and Rohit have a busy international schedule ahead, starting with a three-match home ODI series against South Africa. This series begins in Ranchi on November 30th. The two players will then be seen in action in Raipur on December 3rd and Vizag on December 6th.

Meanwhile, in January 2026, Team India will play three more ODIs against New Zealand, in Vadodara on January 11th, Rajkot on January 14th, and Indore on January 18th. Additionally, a three-match ODI series against England is scheduled for July 2026, with matches in Birmingham, Cardiff, and Lord’s.
Ro-Co fans will now have to wait about a month to see them in action. Both could be seen playing in the home ODI series against South Africa next month.
