India A will be hoping to get a result out of the 2nd unofficial Test against Australia A after the first game ended in a draw. Centuries from Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel ensured that INDA stayed afloat in the 1st Test after centurions Sam Konstas and Josh Philippe powered AUSA to a mammoth 531-run 1st innings total.
India A will be without the services of skipper Shreyas Iyer who has opted out of the game. Keeper-batter Jurel will lead the side in the Mumbai batter’s absence. India A will also be boosted by the presence of KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj, who have joined the side after missing the 1st unofficial Test. The match will be testing ground for the stars who are in fray for spots in the Indian side for the IND vs WI Test series which begins from Oct 2.
